Show and tell at McDonald's

Here are some more pretty and special quilts that were brought in to share. My favorite is the Grandmother's Flower Garden. I love the diamonds.

Darling quilt squares

A sweet lady brought in some of her unfinished quilt squares this morning. Aren't they precious? She is planning on putting them together soon.

Quilts entered into the Fair

My Young Scarlet quilt has been hand quilted and is now complete. I will be entering it into the state fair. I entered it into the county fair along with another quilt and won first place on both quilts. Hopefully I can get a picture posted so that people can see the details.

Still stitching

I have been having a hard time posting some photos lately.  I am not the most computer savvy person.  I have gotten a lot done recently.  Our church had a small quilt show, so that prompted me into working on my hexagon quilt.  I have more of it sewn together.  It is looking great.  I just can't decide how big to make it.  A friend suggested that I make it into a full size quilt.  I will decide later.

I have been taking my stitching to McDonald's.  I used to go and study there when I was in school.  The lighting is great and I have met some nice regular customers.  It gets me out of the house as well. Smile.

I wanted to do a quick quilt and found a free pattern on allpeoplequilt.com.  It is going to be a red white and blue quilt made with "bricks".

I will try to get some pictures up soon

Block 2

Block 2 of the owl quilt is almost complete.  I had to take a trip to Nebraska to be with family.  While my dad was in the hospital I worked on this square.  It has taken about 2 weeks to complete.

Happy Birthday to me

It hard to believe, but today I celebrated my 50th birthday.  Wow, where does time go?  Here is  a picture of my roses and lace quilt.  I have a long ways to go.
