Progress of hexagon quilt

 

My hexagon quilt is slowly growing.  I have added a few more diamonds as well as some more cream hexies that go in between the diamonds.  I found a pretty batik fabric in my fabric stash.  I cut it out into squares for my hexagons, made some hexagons and put several of them into a pile.  I then reached into the pile without looking and made a couple of flowers and decided to use it as part of my border.  I just hope I will have enough.

This is one of the organizers that I use for my hexagons.  I also use a small plastic box to take my hexies on the go.            

Today has been a great day.  So far I have stitched one flower together from the hexagons that I received from a hexagon swap.  I have added one diamond to my hand-pieced hexagon quilt.  I have also made 6 sets of hexagon for the next hexagon exchange.  I will post some pictures soon.
